I chose this place mainly because of the excellent reviews. Therefore, I knew that the service would be great - which it was. The whole staff really makes you feel welcome and - as the name says - at home. The room was good - a simpler version of the design/boutique hotels (which cost at least double the price). The wooden floor in the bathroom was a bit damaged due to water from the shower, but nothing dramatic. Everything was clean. I really wanted a hotel within walking distance from the Spanish steps etc. but this one was a really good compromise for price, quality and location. The metro station (Manzoni) is 2 minutes away, and it takes you to the Trevi, Spanish steps, etc. in 10-15 minutes. The Colosseum and Fora Romana are within walking distance. Having stayed in many places, I must say that for this price, it's difficult to find anything this good.

The breakfast is the continental version. I prefer to have more to choose from. However, the fresh croissants were terrific, as was the possibility to have breakfast in your room. The staff's genuine service attitude makes up for a lot.

Fräscht nyrenoverat rum och bra frukost. Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal som gav många bra tips om vad att göra, hur ta sig fram m.m. Bra läge strax utanför det tätaste turiststråket med 2 min. till närmaste tunnelbana och ca 10 min. gångväg till Colloseum.
